  • Cabinetry, built-ins & wardrobes
  • Furniture resprays & restoration
  • Repairs before paint (chips, swelling, hinges)

Services

Kitchen resprays

Doors, drawer fronts, panels, kickboards — colour change, refresh, or a full modern update.

Cabinetry & built-ins

Wardrobes, laundries, vanities, shelving — plus custom joinery where needed.

Furniture resprays

Tables, buffets, bedsides and more — restore, refinish, and protect.

Repairs before paint

Chips, swelling, delamination, hardware & alignment — sorted properly before finishing.

How it works

  1. Quote: photos + door count + what you want changed.
  2. Prep: clean, degrease, sand, repair, prime.
  3. Spray: smooth, durable finish.
  4. Re-fit: reinstall, align, tidy up, done.

We’ll tell you what’s realistic (and what isn’t) before you spend a cent.

Respray or Replace?

Respray is the right call when

  • Cabinetry is structurally sound
  • The layout works
  • The joinery is worth keeping
  • The issue is cosmetic, not structural

Replacement makes more sense when

  • There’s swelling or water damage
  • Construction quality is poor
  • The layout needs changing
  • The material won’t take a durable finish

How we assess it

We check substrate condition, edge stability, joints, and existing coatings. That tells us whether refinishing will hold up — not just look good for five minutes.

If it’s not worth refinishing, we’ll tell you.

Cost reality

In most cases, respraying costs substantially less than full replacement — especially once demolition, installation, and downtime are counted.

Condition, repairs, access, and finish system affect cost. We quote from what’s actually there.

What we don’t do

Quick cover-ups

We don’t paint over grease, flaking coatings, or damaged substrate just to get a “looks alright from the driveway” result.

Coating over failure

If swelling, delamination, or water damage means it won’t last, we’ll recommend repair or replacement instead.

Unknown products

We don’t use mystery coatings supplied by others where we can’t stand behind adhesion and durability.

Quotes without enough info

We’re happy to quote from photos in many cases — but we won’t guess. If we need more detail, we’ll ask for it.

This keeps the standard high and avoids surprises for you (and headaches for us).

FAQ

How long does a respray take?

Depends on scope and repairs. Prep, spray and curing all matter. We’ll give you a realistic timeframe once we’ve seen photos and counts.

How durable is the finish?

Durability comes from prep, the right primer system, and the correct topcoat for the substrate. We’re aiming for a finish that holds up to real kitchens — not a showroom.

Do you do this on-site or off-site?

It depends on access, scope, and disruption. Some jobs suit removal and spray finishing off-site, others can be managed with careful masking and containment.

Do you cover Wellington?

Yes — Wairarapa and Greater Wellington, and further by arrangement for the right job. Tell us your location up front so we can confirm logistics.
