Services

From a kitchen colour change to bespoke built-in joinery — we do the work properly or we'll tell you why it isn't worth doing.

01

Kitchen resprays

Doors, drawer fronts, panels, kickboards — colour change, same-colour refresh, or a full modern update. Properly prepped and finished to last.

02

Cabinetry & built-ins

Wardrobes, laundries, vanities, shelving — refinished or built new. We handle custom joinery where replacement makes more sense than respraying.

03

Furniture resprays

Tables, buffets, bedsides and more. Restore, refinish and protect — we assess the substrate first so the finish actually holds.

04

Custom joinery

Bespoke cabinetry, kitchens, and built-ins designed and made to your space. Skilled carpentry with a fine finishing standard throughout.

05

Repairs before paint

Chips, swelling, delamination, hardware and alignment — sorted properly before we apply a single coat. No painting over problems.

06

Renovations & fit-out

Larger scopes involving joinery, finishing and installation. We work with homeowners, builders and architects across the region.

From photos to finished

A clear process with no surprises — we'll tell you what's realistic before you spend a cent.

01

Quote

Photos + door count + what you want changed. We can price most jobs from photos. If we need more, we'll say so.

02

Prep

Clean, degrease, sand, repair, prime. This is where durability is won or lost — we don't skip it.

03

Spray

Smooth, even, durable finish with the right product system for your substrate.

04

Re-fit

Reinstall, align, tidy up. You get your space back looking the way it should.

Respray or replace?

We'll tell you which option makes sense — even if that means recommending replacement over our own work.

Respray is the right call when ✓

  • Cabinetry is structurally sound
  • The layout works for you
  • The joinery is worth keeping
  • The issue is cosmetic, not structural
  • You want to avoid the cost of replacement

Replacement makes more sense when →

  • There's swelling or water damage
  • Construction quality is poor
  • The layout needs to change
  • The material won't take a durable finish
  • Repair cost approaches replacement cost

How we assess it

We check substrate condition, edge stability, joints, and existing coatings. That tells us whether refinishing will hold up — not just look good for six months. If it's not worth finishing, we'll tell you straight.

  • Substrate condition & edge stability
  • Joint integrity & construction quality
  • Existing coating adhesion
  • Water or swelling damage assessment
  • Honest cost-versus-value comparison

FAQ

How long does a respray take?

Depends on scope and repairs needed. Prep, spray, and curing all factor in. We'll give you a realistic timeframe once we've seen photos and door counts — not a number pulled from thin air.

How durable is the finish?

Durability comes from prep, the right primer system, and the correct topcoat for the substrate. We're aiming for a finish that holds up to a real kitchen — daily use, cleaning, and humidity.

On-site or off-site finishing?

Depends on access, scope, and how much disruption you want. Some jobs suit removal and off-site spray finishing; others can be managed carefully on-site with proper masking and containment.

Do you cover Wellington?

Yes — Wairarapa and Greater Wellington, and further by arrangement for the right job. Tell us your location upfront so we can confirm logistics and travel.

Can you match existing colours?

In most cases, yes. We can colour-match to paint codes, samples, or existing doors. Bring us a door or a code and we'll confirm what's achievable before quoting.

Do you do custom joinery from scratch?

Yes. If respraying isn't the right answer, or you want something built new, we do custom cabinetry and joinery — designed, built, finished, and installed.
